About Minnesota Blue Flame

lodge_outsideThe Minnesota Blue Flame Gas Association was incorporated in 1972 as a statewide nonprofit corporation. It was designed to bring members of the natural gas industry together to help promote and educate consumers on the efficient use of natural gas and natural gas products.

The association works on a committee basis. The current committees are: Commercial/Industrial Committee, Conservation Committee and the Residential Committee. For detailed information on each of the committees, see the appropriate committee link listed in the menu above.

These committees work together to educate others about and promote the benefits of natural gas and natural gas products, and with the board of directors to identify and sponsor a variety of activities and promotions to help achieve the Association’s mission. In addition, the committees strive to keep abreast of new technologies and are dedicated to reporting findings to our membership base.

Mission Statement:
The mission statement of the Minnesota Blue Flame Gas Association is to educate and promote the safe, efficient use and value of natural gas and natural gas equipment and to encourage energy efficiency and energy conservation products and practices.
